- Delicate artistry - Papercutting is an ancient and intricate artform and Emily Hogarth is a master of it. Her creation features a flowing river winding through five changing scenes, capturing the woodland and its inhabitants in stunning monochrome with metallic-printed sunbursts.

Artful weather forecast in a clock – like our other Weather Clocks, including Emily's first design for Bramwell Brown, the Papercut Forest Clock has an internal barometer and clever mechanical scenery. As the weather shifts, so do the scenes, bringing the ebb and flow of nature into your home.

Weather artwork
The illustrated ‘Papercut Forest’ scenes change with the air pressure. Just like the barometers of old, there are five possible weather forecasts: ‘Very Dry’, ‘Fair’, ‘Change’, ‘Rain’, and ‘Stormy’. -
Easy to hang (indoors!)
A single screw in the wall can hold the clock and you get a nifty hanging guide in the box. This clock is for indoor use only – just please don't hang it within 50cm (20 inches) of a radiator. The delicate mechanics don’t enjoy direct heat. -

Aluminium clock frame is hand-finished. The black coat is silky smooth. Printed vinyl clock face sits behind the anodised metal minute and hour hands. Weather artwork print is onto lightweight artboard. The clock window is shatterproof Lumex. -

A note on altitude

Clock is better than I hoped, the illustrations are stunning and the workmanship is high quality. It looks wonderful and will be an heirloom piece for future. Such a talking point as everyone notices it and asks for a dummy run of the weather.
The clock packaging was sturdy and well designed so the clock arrived in perfect condition.

I had sought longed for a Bramwell Brown clock to finish off my kitchen and when the limited edition Emily Hogarth one was released I had to have one! The muted shades and artwork fit perfectly into my highlands country home and I was lucky enough to get edition number 1, making it ever so special. It is a talking point when guests visit and my children love to see it changing to a different scene.
